My Coaching Philosophy
Collaborative, Grounded and Human
I don’t think coaching is about giving you a list of questions and expecting you to magically figure things out. If it were that easy, you wouldn’t need a coach.Instead, I start by listening. My approach is rooted in genuine conversation: open-ended, non-judgmental, and curious. I ask thoughtful follow-ups and clarifying questions, and I’ll often pause to reflect back what I’ve heard—not just to make sure I got it right, but to help you hear yourself more clearly. That’s often the turning point—when what felt tangled starts to come into focus.

Guiding Career Change with Insight from Medicine, Tech, and Academia
I am a career coach specializing in helping professionals navigate career transitions and major life changes. My experience spans both academia and industry, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges of professional reinvention. My experience includes Yale faculty, a big tech company, and cofounding a startup, providing me with a broad perspective on career growth and adaptation. I teaches a Yale course on decision-making in medicine, further informing my view on navigating high-stakes environments. As a physician and engineer, I blends analytical precision with real-world experience to guide clients through inflection points, whether they’re launching their careers, pivoting industries, or stepping into leadership.
How We Work Together
A Structured Approach with Room to Grow
Listening first: We begin by understanding where you are—your values, blockers, fears, and goals (even the ones you haven’t quite named yet).Collaboration, not prescription: Together, we identify 3–5 active issues to focus on—your lead points. Then we build a plan.Iterative and flexible: Our work evolves. What matters now may shift, and our goals shift with it.Check-ins that matter: Weekly sessions for the first 8 weeks help build momentum. After that, we adapt the cadence based on your needs. This is a thinking partnership designed to help you get unstuck, move forward, and live with more intention.
